Summertime~ Part 1.

Well, I haven't posted anything in a while, but for good reason. It's summertime! For the past week I've been going out (almost) every day. I was accompanied by my right-hand retard rhymnoceros, Yili, during most of these days. I think we've both been having a blast exploring our city, both downtown and in its surroundings.

Tuesday we watched Xiao Dre pull some flashy jacket moves in Karate Kid.
I probably prefer the first version, but this modern take is a nice hommage. I would prefer Smith over his son, but he becomes endearing the more you watch him. Soon enough you're cheering him and Jackie on against the douchebag asian kids who have sayan-like power. After that we went and had some really good Szechuan!


Thursday I met up with Yili at Beaudry and we looked at cameras, shopped around in the thrift shops and ghetto-fabulous clothing stores. We also ate at Gainsbar, one of the coolest bar's I've ever been to. Then we went out to Lachine and walked along the shoreline with Beibei! One of, if not THE, cutest dog's I've ever met!
After that, we met up with Huilong and Felix and went downtown to watch the NBA finals between the Lakers and the Celtics with Cong. Kobe should be happy, he now has more rings than Shaq. Sports Station was full, but good ol' Boit de Karaoke had more than enough space.

Friday was extra fun! Yili hadn't been clubbing yet(technically) and so we all decided to go out! I chose Tokyo Bar because its small and rather casual. Felix, Cong and Kathryn, Yili's super-friendly filipina friend, came along with us. It was such a great night!
